Our Wedding

Max and Michelle struck up a conversation on the bus heading back to campus. Turns out we had a mutual friend! Michelle boldly asks Max to come to the Trailer Park Olympics (first ever picture together) and the rest is history (which you can see below!)

Outdoors / Weather

The ceremony and reception areas include both grass and paved surfaces outdoors and wooden floors indoors. September days can be warm, with cooler evenings—please dress in breathable fabrics and bring layers. We recommend footwear suitable for grass and gravel (block heels, wedges, or dressy flats) rather than stilettos. Where will we be?

Our wedding will take place in the charming town of Lyons, Colorado—about an hour from Denver International Airport. We recommend booking hotels in nearby towns like Boulder, Longmont, or Berthoud. If you have any questions or need help with travel, please contact Michelle or Max. How can we get there?

Ubers and Lyfts are limited in the area, and the roughly 30-minute drive from Boulder, Longmont, or Berthoud can be tiring after a long evening. If you need help renting a car or arranging a ride, please message Michelle or Max — we’re happy to coordinate with friends and family nearby. We also recommend renting a car if you can. A quick note: the 2–3 minute drive up to the venue is on uneven terrain and can be tricky, so if you rent, please avoid oversized vehicles like limousine. Where should we stay?

We’re planning to reserve hotel blocks and will share details as soon as they’re confirmed—please check back soon. Otherwise, we recommend staying in Denver, Boulder, Berthoud, or Longmont. Denver is about an hour away; Boulder, Berthoud, and Longmont are all under 30 minutes. If you’d like a scenic splurge, Estes Park is a beautiful option about 30 minutes from Lyons. Parking

There will be parking available on site. The short drive up is a bit winding and on uneven terrain—please avoid oversized vehicles. If you need help getting from your car to the Manor (or back), let us know and we’ll arrange assistance. Sẽ có chỗ đậu xe ngay tại địa điểm. P.S. Max's Mom - Donna is a master gardener and a member of the Botanic Gardens!

Yes - it's actually real. Denver's most exciting entertainment restaurant featuring a variety of live entertainment for all ages including brave cliff divers plunging from a 30-foot waterfall and a variety of stage acts. They seat 1100 and serve both Mexican and American food. No charge for parking. Plenty of room for cars and RV's. PS. Michelle is a founding member, no really - they are. She can snag you some reservations ahead of time if you're interested!

Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge

Denver Union Station is located in the heart of downtown Denver. It boasts an array of Denver's top restaurants, bars, and shops in addition to The Crawford Hotel and RTD Station.

Enter Convergence Station, where four alien worlds joined together in a rare cosmic event created a place where memories are currency. It's really cool but also pretty overwhelming/overstimulating! Just a heads up!
