129 Days To Go!

So when and where is the wedding?

September 21, 2026 at Lionscrest Manor, Lyons, Colorado. The ceremony starts at 6:00 PM. Please kindly arrive by 5:45 PM. Late arrivals will be asked to wait outside the ceremony space until after the processional is finished. Reception will go until 11:00 PM with maybe a final hour of dancing, singing, and celebrating. Heads up! The venue is ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN. You would probably regret walking after dancing for many hours!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 14. Invitations will be going out soon (if not so already!) Please RSVP on this website or call Michelle or Max. Thank you

How can I RSVP? (or edit an existing RSVP?)

You can RSVP with this website, call, or text Max or Michelle.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Yes! There is plenty of parking available for everyone on site. The venue has also told us that cars can be left overnight and picked up the next day if necessary. Please be safe.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Yes! All who wish to partake are welcome! We don't drink but we'll happily raise a glass (of juice) with you anyways!

What kind of food will there be?

We're hoping to have both American and Vietnamese cuisines! An assortment options will be available and it'll be in buffet style.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please let us know when you RSVP so we can make the necessary accommodations. Thank you!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors overlooking a beautiful rocky scenery. The wedding reception will be indoors inside the super cool manor!

For non-Coloradians: I've heard of altitude sickness. Do I need to be worried? How do I minimize my risk of altitude sickness?

Altitude sickness occurs when your body does not have enough time to adjust to lower oxygen levels at higher altitudes. Symptoms can include headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, and shortness of breath. It may sound scary, but the good news is that it's easy to treat! Drink plenty of water, ascend gradually, and give your body time to adjust.

What do the elderly or disabled need to know?

The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors on a grassy knoll; the ground may be uneven. Lionscrest Manor features several steps at the entrance, but the reception will take place on the ground floor inside the mansion, ensuring easy accessibility. If you require any accessibility assistance (such as a walker, wheelchair access, or seating near an exit), please let us know when confirming your attendance so that we may make appropriate arrangements.

What is weather typically like at the venue this time of year?

Temperatures in Lyons in September typically range from a high of about 75°F (24°C) to a low near 59°F (15°C). Evenings can feel mildly cool and the area is often breezy—layers are recommended.

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Yes - but please no random kids you found at the park? Please have them be yours...like...your kids. (Don't steal kids.) But basically - The more, the merrier!

Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony and/or reception?

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Will you be live streaming your wedding?

We'll be live streaming our ceremony for a handful of overseas guests who are unable to celebrate with us in person. The link & password for the live stream will be included on the invitation.

Are there any cultural traditions or best practices I should be aware of?

Thank you for asking! Michelle and Max will be wearing traditional *áo dài* in the *Việt Phục* style; both outfits will feature teal and green tones! If you wish to dress to match, you are warmly encouraged to wear smart attire inspired by blue or earth tones to complement the overall theme.

I'm not Vietnamese, can I also wear an áo dài?

Yeah - just don't wear Việt phục. You probably won't be able to find something like that so we're not so worried. However, if you're in LA/Orange county and want a recommendation - hit us up. Our tailor is pretty cool.

Who can I contact if I have more questions about the wedding?

Please feel free to text or call Michelle or Max. The day of contact will be updated soon. Thanks!
